 Ms. Teresa

Bringing over five years of dedicated experience to Young Risers, Ms. Teresa holds Child Development Associate (CDA) credentials in both Infant-Toddler and Preschool care. She brings warmth and imaginative play to her classroom, sparking early curiosity and joyful discovery every day.

Ms. Carmen

Is passionate about our earliest learners. She joins our Infant-Toddler classroom with over five years of childcare experience in New York City. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Management from the Dominican Republic and is currently advancing her education through CUNY SPS, where she is earning her Child Development Associate (CDA) credential in Infant-Toddler Care.

Our Older Toddler classroom is a place where children flourish, as teachers' share a deep commitment to creating a loving and stimulating environment. In their classrooms, every area and activity is designed to support movement, foster trusting adult-child relationships, and encourage positive peer interactions. Through responsive caregiving, sensory exploration, and play-based learning, our teachers lay the foundation of "100 Languages".

Elizabeth

Joined our team in 2023 and brings her own passion for nurturing young minds. She has developed a meaningful understanding of stimulating play via natural materials and encouraging guidance.

We nurture a love for learning by providing children with rich, hands-on opportunities for exploration. Celebrating each child’s individuality, our teachers support both social-emotional and academic growth. Together, they design a robust environment where children are inspired to explore, connect, and thrive. This dynamic approach beautifully integrates the '100 Languages of Children' through an emergent curriculum aligned with the NYC DOE Early Childhood Framework for Quality.

Ms. Dulce

A long-time Young Risers parent turned educator, Ms. Dulce brings firsthand appreciation for the Reggio Emilia approach, having seen it nurture independence and self-advocacy in her own children. She holds a Master of Science in Early Childhood Education (Birth–Grade 2) from Brooklyn College and brings boundless enthusiasm and intention to our classrooms every day.

Ms. Elizabeth

After a wonderful year supporting our youngest learners as an assistant teacher in the infant-toddler room, Ms. Elizabeth is stepping into the Preschool classroom. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Bioanalysis from the Dominican Republic and is passionate about creating a caring, engaging space where every child feels confident and supported as they grow.

Tami 

Believes in the importance of Music in early childhood. She joins us once a week and guides our children in properly using different instruments. She encourages musical terms through songs and dance.
